Dafni Smonou has produced an outstanding presentation, which provides a comprehensive account of her state-of-the-art research. The Prize comprises £100 and an electronic certificate (shown above).

A paper extracted from Dafni's MSc thesis has been accepted for publication in IEEE's Congress on Evolutionary Computation, Cancun, Mexico, 20-23 June 2013. This reflects the quality of her work. Credit should also go to Dr Michael Kampouridis (CCFEA Alumnus and Visiting Fellow), who supervised Dafni's project.
