Programs / Demos for the
Adaptive Constraint Satisfaction Project
Constraint Satisfaction Research Group
University of Essex
There is a number of utility and demonstration programs for the
Adaptive Constraint Satisfaction Project.
- Algorithm Comparison and Evaluation (ACE) System
- Users can use this tool to run experiments to evaluate a non-trivial
number of algorithms and heuristics
- Unix (SunOS 4.1) version
- Windows version
- Adaptive Search Algorithm (ASA) Demo
- Windows demo which allows the users to change the level of lookahead and intelligent
backtracking dynamically and observe a number of monitors on
the performance of the algorithm
- Genbcsp Program
- Windows version of a program which generates random binary constraint satisfactions for experimental purpose
- Node Traversal Cost (NTC) Monitor (program demo)
- Unix (SunOS 4.1) sample program showing how monitors can be built under our architecture
- Reduced Exceptional Behaviour Algorithm (REBA) Demo
- Program demonstrating an adaptive constraint satisfaction strategy
which uses the fast-first principle
- Unix (SunOS 4.1) version
- Windows version
