Sanhanat Paniangtong (Nat) has produced an outstanding MSc dissertation "The Evaluation of the Trend-Following Directional Change with the Trailing Stop and Major-Trend-Adjusted Strategies on Algorithmic Trading in the Foreign Exchange Markets", which can be downloaded here.
