Political Language

Edward Tsang 2013.02.24

George Orwell concluded that political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.

How true!

It seems standard practice for British Rail to announce "Route Improvements" when there is service disruption. This is unacceptable. I don't think the public accepts it, but there appears to be no feedback route to the British Rail. Perhaps they are not interested in the public's opinions.
