Chen Yiping and Yang Yang visited University of Essex from 7th to 11th October (see photos, article and video on BBC).
Chen Yiping (陳一冰) is a gymnast, specializing in rings. He has won numerous individual and team prizes, including Rings at 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Yang Yang (楊陽) specialized in speed skating. She has won many prizes, including the Silver medal in the 2002 Winter Olympics.
They were more than outstanding athletes. They are very bright and very friendly. It was a joy talking to them. I'm honoured to have met them.
